The U.K.'s well known drug store, Boots, is working with Kodak to provide printing kiosks (see left) with infrared or Bluetooth capabilities for uploading camera phone photos, according to a press release today. The brief (too brief, I think) press release says the kiosks will be available in more than 1,000 Boots stores across the country.
Prints will be available in 4" x 6" and 8" x 6", starting at 29 pence ($.53). The kiosks also can accept photos on memory cards, either from a camera phone or a digital camera.
I assume this effort is through Kodak's wireless group, Kodak Mobile, that is installing wireless capabilities on its Picture Maker kiosks around the world, including Europe, North America and Asia.
