Muslims on Haj use camera phones to record memories

Much has been written about Saudi Arabia banning -- and recently lifting the ban -- on camera phones, but cellular phones -- including camera phones -- are used by millions of Arabs around the world.

An article in the Arab News reports how useful cellular phones -- including camera phones -- are to Arabs on Haj (pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia to visit and pray at the holiest places in the Muslin world).

The article notes that some Arabs carry camera phones and are "immortalizing some unforgettable moments of Haj on it to show them to their family members back home."
