Party-goes take camera phone photos of dying 15 year old girl

I wasn’t sure whether to post this.

CBS TV in Los Angeles published a story of people at a middle school graduation party who took camera phone photos of a 15 year old girl as she lay dying.

A boy, believed to be 14 years old, also was shot at the party, but he has survived.  Police are still looking for the assailant.

Sign of the times

This is a very sad sign-of-the-times story.  Perhaps partygoers also photographed the girl with digital cameras.  But it was camera phones that were the “news hook.”

Having a camera phone means you always are able to take a photo, whether it’s while viewing the body of Pope John Paul II or a dying teenage girl.
