I just set up a textamerica moblog, “Day in Nantucket,” (see below) about the day my girlfriend and I spent on — surprise! — Nantucket Island. I used a two megapixel Nokia N90 camera phone the company lent me to test as part of the Nokia “blogger relations” program.
When we went there by ferry, May 27, it was also the start of a well-known (in Cape Cod, at least!) sailboat race, Figawi, from Hyannis, Mass. to Nantucket, and back. So my photos and two videos include shots of the boats sailing (and motoring) to Nantucket.
I think I might have cropped a photo or two, but the photos and videos are basically as I took them without any image editing. Sometimes the sun was in a good position, sometimes not.
Last weekend I used the N90 to take photos and videos of downtown Washington, D.C. and I hope to post those images soon.
